DEVID - Alone by Aikurisu DEVID - Alone by Aikurisu
To be honest, I wasn't going to draw something new for my Dev ID this year... but alas, here we are. (I think [link] might be a better likeness of me, though, so I may work on this one some more.)

God, how I wish I could lick a lamp post in winter nowadays... (And before anyone else takes that out of context, I meant being intimate with a woman. Thank you Alistair for your colourful ways in wittily avoiding talking about certain... well, stuff. XD) "Why no, Alistair, I have never licked a lamp post in winter, but I'm sure with the Maker's blessing, I will be granted the opportunity, in time. So... uhh, you wouldn't happen to know where Leliana is at this late hour, yes? Oh? She's just standing over there, wandering aimlessly near my tent? Ah, good! What? Oh, I'm sure it's completely unrelated to what we spoke of. Wait... you don't believe me? Not even a bit? Well... HEY! Look over there! Darkspawn!!"

I love your work, beautiful, haunting and draws you into the work.

I would love to buy one and place it on a canvas to display in my humble abode.

What do you think?

It would be quite an honour if someone did one day put one of my works on their wall, but the sad reality is I've yet to meet a printing service that I'm comfortable with. That and, according to all, my images are far too small in scale to make decent prints in the first place... which I do need to work on, but it's frustrating work when I'm so used to drawing at smaller scales...

Anyway, thank you for the kind words. I do have one work I'm thinking of turning into a print here at DA soon, but we shall see. =)

I don't know if you've ever read A Song of Ice and Fire, but this totally reminds me of Ned cleaning his great sword under a weir wood tree.

Do you really have that long of hair? Must be hard to maintain :O

Strangely enough, it's not that bad. Of course, I don't really care about splitends and such, so... =P

(The upside to all this is I haven't had to go to a barber for years! Saved a small fortune that way. XD)</snall>

Anyhoo, yes, I've read the series, save for the last one... yet that's not where I drew my inspiration from. Cool to think on it, though. =)

Well that's one way to save money

It's a good series, you should totally read the last one :D
Though I haven't read it yet, since I'm re-reading the first four to remember what happens

lol, a wise decision. I'm still trying to work myself up to re-reading the series again, too. x_x

Definitely worth it  I just finished the re-read myself, you see things in a different light the second time. You catch all the subtle hints on what's to come :)

Also finished Dance with Dragons !

It was awesome to finally have some new material, but it felt like it didn't really get anywhere. I am eagerly awaiting the next book and hopefully more things will happen! Too bad it's like 4 years away..

In other words, this is really neat-o :)

that is understood and agreed. personally I would like to visit the places of my ancestry. Ireland, Cornwall, Germany. In Cornwall there is a village named after my family. We have a lot of history attached with the name Chenoweth.

That is pretty cool. To know that you can trace your bloodline back to nobility would be something I know I'd be proud of.

You have Leliana to write songs about you in bed. :XD:

Well, you won't hear me complaining about that. Maybe in a candlelit bath, heated with a touch of fire magic, too? Finally I get to use my Maker-given talents for something other than killing stuff and cooking delicious food on the side. =P

But wait... wasn't Alistair just using that saying for asking if someone was a virgin or not, and not referring to phallic symbolism? God, I hope it wasn't the latter. That would be wrong. XD

Well, with a female he definitely is refering to phallic symbolism. xD Not sure how he says it with a male since I never played as one, lol.

Well, I figured since the dude's straight, it was just a poetic metaphor for trying to avoid saying he's never had sex. XD
