1st Place Winner to "The Many Faces of Xull'rae" Contest!!
And many thanks for the favs/comments! You've all been a great inspiration.  Update - 16/08/06: Okies, hopefully for those who already saw the first version; you'll be able to note the additional work. Mostly costume related, but her hair was altered significantly also for a wavy style I've seen with other artist interpretations. Otherwise, I cleaned up a few light layers and added 30 more to the pre-existing 63. Anyhoo, it really is a rare occassion to see me enter a contest. I'd say it's just a phobia, because err... well... I just dislike being involved in them! >_< Yet I made an exception for Lisa; for she's a sweet person, and Xull'rae is a fun character to draw. There are other reasons, but I won't bore you to the brink of insanity with those. XD I even had a little fun on the side researching the drow society and architecture... though who's to say any of that is here? >_>;; The Underdark is hard to draw for its lack of visual reference... but I'm slowly getting the jist of it. -- Full-view is advised! We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
