Drawn in under 3 days. Was running low on time, but I felt I had to create something for my 4th year here at DA. Artwork is roughly based on a concept when the nelri began to design flightsuits. It was not long before the age of space exploration when the one portrayed here was designed as a basic prototype that allowed the nelri to be the first to create a winged flightsuit that did not require cybernetic enhancements to operate. In theory, the wings were articulated through the combination of a nelri pilot's psychic brain wave activity, and the flightsuit's figure-contouring necessity to tap into the host's central nervous system and muscle fibres. Electromagnetic currents were also used to back it up, in case of pilot fatigue, from a compact MS07r moonstone power source.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Besides apollo and flight....
You could just say the Nelri like making anything they do to be art. Why just collect data when they can turn it in to an art piece at the same time? They are definitely very involved with the arts at heart, excuse me for saying it, even in the art of war as well. As for science, It might be a short sighted observation, but they intertwine it with their arts very deeply even if it appears on a surface level.
