Macross OZ Con '09

Well, in case if anyone was wondering where I’ve been, I was in Brisbane last weekend, attending the Macross OZ Con there. And it was brilliant on so many levels I won’t go into detail here, but if you want to know more about it, check over at: [link] I'll be uploading pics I took there too.

Art wise, this image was originally meant for a t-shirt print that was going to be available at the con, although due to some technical issues with the printing service, and that I’ve really been out of whack in terms of my art these past few months, I decided to release it here as tribute anyway to the con and special thanks to the people I befriended there, who have inadvertently helped me escape the doldrums for now.

So yes! Enjoy, and mayhap I may see some of ya at next year’s con!

And as for the woman, she is an original character portrayed as an Australian test pilot for UNSPACY, in its infant days, before Earth was decimated by the Zentradi and forced her into space. So other than that, I still need to work out a story and name for her, but there's a good chance I'll be fleshing her out in the years to come.
