Heh, how did you see Klaus as anyway? Mind you, I'll still be drawing anime styled sketches of him, so the looks between realism and it will vary. Despite my current trend, I still like anime with its facial expressions...

Don't ever say that. I've said the same, and it only leads to not realising the possibilities. I often look at other people's art, and think, "How the bloody hell did they do that?" So I find myself making it my business to one day surpass them. May take years of practice, but look at the stylings of Masamune Shirow. He is well known as an anime artistic genius, and look how long that took for him. Well over 30 years in the industry. I respect artists that come a long way from their humble beginnings. You would shudder if you saw my first attempts a couple of years back. Luckily, only hell will need to ice over for anyone to see, and the forums they were once known on are history.

You're off to a great start. The only advice I can give, is stick to your guns, and buy a tablet. You only have to look through my gallery to see where I only just started to improve dramactically. [link] <--- that was my first with it.

True, getting a tablet doesn't mean you become amazing good at colours straight away. It just gives you more control if you make any errors. An ol' friend of mine even said she found them cumbersome to use and inadequate. *shrugs* I got hooked to it like a fish to water though.

Though I must admit for the next few artworks, I'm laying low for backgrounds. They drain me of time, and I really just want to draw a couple of normal anime illustrations for a change.
