Yes, ladies, beyond that full-view notice is a loincloth donning nelan. (A nelri MALE!) And a background that caused a minor art rut this month! Well alright, I'll admit that the moss drawn by hand was fun, but that grass was evil. And yeah, there's a fenelan in this too as you can see from the preview. Besides being challenged by the overall size of this piece, I opted for a different skin shading technique, but eh... needless to say, this has been my largest project to date. At a scale of 1200x1800, with 100 + layers...? >_<
In the meantime, I'll write a small few chapter fiction that'll compliment this work and what it's all about. The posework between the two portrays the nelan crouching to get a closer look of a creature's remains that was slain by the shadow beast they're tracking. The fenelan huntress is less interested of course, believing his serious examining of a bygone prey was ridiculous. By July anyhoo, I hope to have a sequel to this artwork.
