Yeah, no.  Just no.

Things are just getting way too obnoxious now.  No matter where you look, artists are slapping a 'P' on their work like it's meant to mean something good.  Yeah, I understand us artists need to make a living somehow but, depending on the artist, Patreon is like a porn site to them with all the pay walls normally associated with.

lol, and before anyone asks, no, I don't get involved with any of that.  It's just common knowledge.

Sure, I understand that Patreon has been used properly in some cases but I'd rather starve than stoop to the level I'm seeing many heading to.  So I guess you folks won't have to worry about me using that damnable business model, though admittedly that might not be so good for me in the long run, creatively speaking.

I'm glad I decided not to use Patreon. Imagine charging people for bootleg Sonic merchandise or Sonic porn. You don't own Sonic. SEGA does.
