Kaen's Lightsaber

Edit: Added a few details here and there. Someone said it looked like something undesirable, so I worked more on the design. One thing I should note however is this isn't your typical lightsaber in the conventional sense. What I can unveil so far about it is that Kaen created it so that only he could ignite it, thanks to inscribing a mental signature with its activation mechanism that recognises only his state of mind. The upside of this rare technique speaks for itself and also limits its native wielder; should Kaen ever fall completely to the dark side that is, as it reacts only to the light side of the force. Thus it truly is a weapon designed for the mind of a Jedi, if not for one who embraces the light and not the dark.

Anyhoo! This is a detailed concept of Kaen Fey's lightsaber, the jedi who appears in Harpy Nest.

Since that art and its story have received such an awesome amount of interest, I'm going to look into fleshing it out into a short story if I can, providing I can get my head around some of the standard mechanics surrounding Star Wars' universe. It will be good practice anyway by the time I do end up RPing in TOR, which should be only a matter of time...
