I poured all my efforts into this one. Comments will be delightfully appreciated.
So what's to say about this piece? It is an artwork requested from Sargoth, of his character Delenn. She's a night elf druid in that World of Warcraft game I wouldn't mind playing... sometime this year. However, despite the sexy elf's look that I'm sure most of you couldn't help but notice... I really just did this for the environment surrounding her. With the exception of the elf's anatomy sketch on paper, everything else was created with the tablet. Right down to the fancy borders. It's not normal for me, seriously...
Ah well, I just pray this bests my old track records. Full view is a must.
(On a sad note: this took 56 layers, and weighed in at 13.2MB before jpeg resizing!)
Restoration Project: 23rd of May, 2006 - In case if you're wondering, I have been taking a step back on some older works such as this one, to be updated and shown at my main site - (The EBS) So what got changed about this one? The lighting on the lovely elf has been darkened and highlighted to fit more appropriately with the moonlit background. The glow bugs are also an addition, and I added a little shadow and shine here and there. Especially with the water. That was fun to recreate. Sadly there were other things I'd have liked to alter, but my CG'ing style has changed a lot since I first created this. Meaning that the layer system back then was a mess, and wasn't possible to navigate for a complete restoration... Anyhoo, enjoy the final restoration's result. ^^
